Please help!!! all you people who are good at gardening or taking care of plants!!!?
I аm interested іח mаkіחɡ mу house more, well, natured. I һаνе found ѕοmе plants tһаt i wουƖԁ Ɩіkе tο һаνе іח mу house (5 actually). Abουt һοw much water ѕһουƖԁ i рυt іח mу plants аחԁ һοw many times a day? thanks.
One rule οf thumb fοr watering іѕ tο estimate аbουt 1/3 οf tһе amount οf soil іח tһе pot & tһаt іѕ аbουt һοw much water іt takes tο wet аƖƖ tһе soil.
Aѕ a beginner I recommend ALWAYS checking tһе soil before watering, υѕе уουr finger οr a pencil & try tο check 1/2 way down οr fοr bіɡɡеr pots аbουt 4 inches deep.
Different plants һаνе different water needs, ѕο ԁο a ƖіttƖе research οr post ѕοmе pics οח here tο see wһісһ ones Ɩіkе tο bе more moist & wһісһ Ɩіkе tο bе dry a ƖіttƖе between watering.
pay attention tο tһеm until уου ɡеt tο know tһеіr needs
typically уου′ll οחƖу need tο water еνеrу 7-10 days
over-watering kіƖƖѕ fаѕtеr tһаח under-watering.
Gοοԁ Luck

it dependes on the kind of the plants there’s not just one answer to your question…there’s usually a target with the name in the vase of the plant, take a look and write the name of the plant on google…

To grow successful houseplants, it will be necessary to, first, ascertain the correct Latin name so that you know what you are dealing with.
Then you may seek information in the many fine books available from the public library on the subject.

that you mix with water watering your plants is going to be easy.first stick your finger in the soil up to first joint if the soil is dry then it needs water .misting your plants a lot helps to.make sure you use miracle grow or some other fertilizer that you mix with water, when watering.also make sure that they are getting enough light.

it really depends on the plant.. some like a lot of water… some like moderately moist or dry soil.. some like direct sun light some like indirect sunlight..
look up the plants that you like and read up on them… that way you know what to expect. i have a coffee plant that i have to spray at least twice a week so the leaves don’t get crispy.. it didn’t say that on the label and i googled the plant and learned about it.

One rule of thumb for watering is to estimate about 1/3 of the amount of soil in the pot & that is about how much water it takes to wet all the soil.
As a beginner I recommend ALWAYS checking the soil before watering, use your finger or a pencil & try to check 1/2 way down or for bigger pots about 4 inches deep.
Different plants have different water needs, so do a little research or post some pics on here to see which ones like to be more moist & which like to be dry a little between watering.
pay attention to them until you get to know their needs
typically you’ll only need to water every 7-10 days
over-watering kills faster than under-watering.
Good Luck

It depends on which plants you have bought as they have different needs. They should have plant care instructions on them?
First of all – try to relax – most plants are quite easy to care for. You can tell how often they need watering by putting your finger into the compost – water them when it feels slightly dry just beneath the surface. It depends on what time of year it is – in hot weather and when it is actively growing, the plant will need more water. Also, if you live in a centrally heated house the plant will need more water.
Place the plant in the light (but most plants do not like direct sunlight)
Most house plants appreciate feeding during the growing season and some like spraying or misting. This helps to keep the level of humidity in the room.
A good tip is – don't leave the plants standing in water for longer than half an hour after you have watered them, as this will make the roots rot.
Type Care of Plants into google for extra advice.
As time goes on you can learn more and more about plants and it is wonderful to have them in your home.
Enjoy!

It depends on the plants, and on how quickly the pots dry out. Make sure, too, that your plants get enough light: That’s what kills a lot of indoor plants.
Now, a few days ago, I read an article where a man built a very clever flower box that pretty well watered itself. He built and sealed his box, then took empty soda bottles and punched a few holes in them, and ran cord through them to wick the water out and so keep the flowers irrigated without drowning them. And he just put the water in his bottles when it got low.
Good luck!

The potting soil should be kept slightly moist. Simply stick your finger into the soil and if the top inch or two is slightly moist, then forego watering that day. Test it again the next day, and water only when the top inch of two of soil feels dry.
How often you need to water will depend on the water needs of each particular plant, and the dryness or humidity of the air in your house.
You certainly won’t need to water your plants several times a day. Usually once or twice a week is often enough.

Different plants have different watering (and light) needs. I suggest you check where you bought them. Usually a plant will come with growing tips.
Most often, a plant will only need to be watered about once a week. Put them in pot that have drainage (so excess water runs out the bottom.) Use good potting soil. I like Miracle Grow Potting Soil. Put your plants in a spot where they will get some good daylight. Water thoroughly, but don’t over-water. When the soil becomes dry, it’s time to give it another drink. If the leaves start turning yellow, the plant has too much water. If it’s turning brown, not enough.
Fertilize about every other month. There are some little fertilizer spikes you can just push into the soil.
