It wants indirect light, moist moss, NOT WET, misting is the best bet, and higher humidity. If you have a bathroom with a window, or a kitchen with one, put it there.

Orchids are difficult, to be honest. Mine prefers morning sun and they do not like sitting in water so try not to water them too much. Once you find a place to put it, try not to move it from that spot because mine didn’t seem to like being moved either. Once it has bloomed, if it begins to look dead, prune it down a couple of inches and continue caring for it, it will come back.

I have had my orchids for three years now.

    Good Luck

water it once a week, you can put it under the faucet for a couple of minutes, but the pot has to have good drainage, for that u could use special orchid soil,Orchids don’t like to be wet all the time, but they like to be misted specially if they’re blooming, the flowers last longer if you spray them, Use orchid fertilizer once a month, following label directions. Don’t put them in a sunny spot, is better indirect light for them, clean the leaves w/ a clean, wet paper napkin when they get water spots . I hope this information would help you take care of these beatiful plants.
